THE BUTCHER’S ROOM / LIBRARY
Historic interior · dark timber · original working detail
A deeply atmospheric room within the farmhouse, with dark timber, old stone and the traces of its former working life still visible.
The original salting slab and meat hooks give the room an unusual, authentic character, while its present use as a library creates a layered interior that can read as domestic, scholarly or more austere depending on how it is framed.
