STAYStay between stone and sky.
Two beautifully individual places to stay within our private 65-acre Wye Valley estate — surrounded by meadow, woodland, water, old stone and open sky.
Come for a few days. Stay longer. Make the place your own.
THE TWO STAYS
Two places. Each its own world.
The Loft at From Stone to Sky
A secluded one-bedroom retreat above the old cider press, with ancient stone walls, exposed oak, a king-size bedroom and the great arched window looking out across the Wye Valley landscape.
For two adults. Private. Characterful. And very difficult to leave.
Hidden in the garden at the edge of the estate, Puzzle Tree is a quiet one-bedroom cottage surrounded by old stone, mature trees and planting.
Made for longer stays — for walking, reading, working, cooking and settling into the landscape rather than passing through it.

OUR HOSTING
Hosting, well practised.
From Stone to Sky may be a new way of experiencing the estate. Welcoming people here is not.

We’re now beginning to welcome guests directly through From Stone to Sky — bringing the experience home and giving us more freedom to shape stays around the landscape, the seasons and what is happening here.
750+ five-star guest reviews. Both ranked among Airbnb’s Top 1%.

“We have stayed in many great Airbnbs, but the beautiful Apple Loft surpassed them all… it’s the amazing view and outside space that really makes this place. It is simply stunning. We will absolutely return.”

“They aren’t just caretakers of a beautiful old homestead, they are just beautiful people… We would come back in a heartbeat to stay in this beautiful space that they have created for visitors with so much love and intention.”

BEYOND THE DOOR
The landscape is part of the stay.
Beyond the door are meadow, woodland, water, old stone and open sky. Follow the paths, find a quiet place to sit, or spend a day without needing to go anywhere at all.
There are just two places to stay within 65 acres.
A remarkable corner of England.
From Stone To Sky sits within the Wye Valley National Landscape, on the edge of the Forest of Dean.
Woodland, river valleys, market towns, historic sites, independent food and some of the region’s most beautiful walking country are within easy reach.
But you may find you don’t need to go very far.
