From Stone To Sky is a 65-acre estate in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley National Landscape, shaped by historic buildings, woodland, meadow, water and centuries of human activity. Here, filmmaking, ecological recovery, creative practice and hospitality are being explored as parts of one evolving landscape.
The aim is simple: care for the land, understand how it changes, and find ways for the activity it supports to contribute to its long-term stewardship.

Filmmaking is one of the estate’s principal economic activities. From Stone To Sky is exploring how production income, infrastructure and creative activity can sit within — and contribute to — the long-term stewardship of the landscape.
